Bought the walnut one for our lounge in Northcote and honestly the wheels sold me. I roll it over the arm of the couch on Sundays for my coffee and laptop, then push it back beside the bed when we vacuum. Zero assembly, out of the box ready. Put a hot mug straight on the stone top with no mark. At only 30cm wide it doesn't crowd our narrow room at all. Only note is it drifts a little on floorboards if you lean on it.

I looked at a similar-shaped one for two hundred less and the difference is the top and the timber. This is stone, cold to touch, and the oak has no veneer edge anywhere, you can see end grain on the corners. Six weeks in and nothing has loosened. Wheels roll quietly on carpet. I'd have liked one more drawer for the money, but I'm happy.

I did not expect soft-close on something this small. You push and it takes itself the last inch, no bang. My partner has a habit of shoving drawers and now I don't hear it from the next room. The open shelf underneath holds the remotes and two paperbacks. Arrived built.

Put the pot straight down on it out of habit, panicked, wiped it and there was nothing. No ring, no dulling.
