The listing says 30 to 60 minutes and I was at the top end of that, partly because I wanted to get the hook angles even. Fiddly but not difficult. End result is genuinely sturdy and the rivet detailing on the joints looks deliberate rather than decorative.
Almost a dark chocolate with the grain showing through. Photos make it look mid brown. I prefer the reality.
This is the thing that separates it from the cheap ones. I've had two racks before that went over the moment you hung anything on one side. This has a wide low base with real mass to it and I've never seen it lean. I still keep it in a corner because we have a boisterous dog, as the listing suggests, but I've stopped worrying about it.
Narrow footprint for the amount it holds. That corner was dead space and now it does all the work.
I've been searching for a minimalist coat rack for ages that wasn't flimsy junk, and this is it. The design is simple and elegant, and the black walnut is just gorgeous – it has a much richer, darker tone in person than the online photos suggest, which I actually prefer. It feels incredibly solid once assembled, no wobbling at all. It took me about 40 minutes to put together by myself, pretty straightforward. It’s definitely an investment piece, but for solid wood and a design this clean, I think it's justified.
The coat rack has round, ball-shaped hooks that prevent snags and securely hold your items. They face multiple directions for organized, attractive storage.
The coat rack has a stable, 36cm round base that keeps it from tipping over. Ensures safety and adds a touch of elegance to your space.
This coat rack is made of beautiful, natural black walnut wood that's also easy to maintain. Just wipe it down with water to keep it looking fresh and new.
