My partner does jigsaws and can now leave one half finished on the slide out panel, push it in, and nobody knocks it over. She says it's the best thing I've bought.
Remotes, chargers, coasters, the kids' cards, all out of sight. Our old table had an open shelf and it was permanently a mess.
No struggling to line anything up. Bolted on, flipped it over, and it sat flat on the first try without any adjustment.
It was a novelty at first and is now the most used thing in the room, laptop for me, jigsaw for my partner. Two drawers swallow the chargers, cards and coasters. Cherry wood is heavy and the weathered finish hides the odd knock, which matters with kids around. Legs only, fifteen minutes.
Solid cherry, so it's a two person job to get it into position and you won't be nudging it around to vacuum. That's the tradeoff for how substantial it feels. Assembly was legs only, about fifteen minutes with the supplied key.
